EVOMON BUILD GUIDE
Evomon Natures: All 29 Stat Changes and Best Role Fits
Every Evomon nature raises one stat by 10% and lowers another by 10%. The right choice depends on what the creature is meant to do, not on one universal nature tier list.

What is the best nature in Evomon?
There is no single best Evomon nature. Physical attackers normally prefer Attack or Speed while dropping Sp. Atk; special attackers prefer Sp. Atk or Speed while dropping Attack. Defensive creatures usually want HP, Defense, or Sp. Def without sacrificing the stat they use to deal damage.
Adamant is a clean physical-damage choice, Modest is a clean special-damage choice, and Jolly is useful when acting first matters more than special output. Those are examples, not an automatic ranking for every creature.
Boost the stat that defines the creature's job and drop a stat the build does not need. Check the live stat page before investing because balance values can change.
How Evomon natures change stats
The community nature reference checked on July 29, 2026 lists 29 natures. Each reported nature applies one +10% modifier and one -10% modifier across HP, Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, or Speed. A nature therefore creates a real tradeoff rather than a free bonus.
Start with the moves and intended role. A creature using physical attacks gains little from extra Sp. Atk, so Adamant can be efficient. A special attacker has the opposite logic and may prefer Modest. A slow bulky build can accept a Speed drop more easily than a fragile sweeper.
Do not judge a nature by its name. Quiet, Brave, Calm, or Hasty are labels; the two stat modifiers are what matter. Verify the live game panel when a patch, rebalance, or localization displays different values.

How to choose an Evomon nature
Use a role-first process instead of copying a nature name from another build.
Identify the damage stat
Check whether the useful moves scale with Attack or Sp. Atk. Avoid lowering the stat that powers the creature's main attacks.
Decide whether Speed matters
A sweeper may need Jolly, Naive, Warm, or Hasty to act earlier. A slow tank may accept lower Speed for more bulk or damage.
Protect the defensive plan
Frontliners and pivots should not casually sacrifice HP, Defense, or Sp. Def if that stat is the reason they survive key fights.
Test before deep upgrades
Use the creature in normal battles first. A technically perfect nature is not worth overinvesting in a member that does not fit the team.

Best nature fits by team role
These are practical starting points. Moves, base stats, equipment, opponents, and team coverage can justify a different choice.
| Role | Useful boost | Example natures | Usually avoid dropping |
|---|---|---|---|
| Physical attacker | Attack or Speed | Adamant, Jolly, Brave, Naughty | Attack |
| Special attacker | Sp. Atk or Speed | Modest, Quiet, Mild, Rational | Sp. Atk |
| Physical defender | Defense or HP | Bold, Impish, Relaxed, Serious | Defense or HP |
| Special defender | Sp. Def or HP | Calm, Careful, Gentle, Sassy | Sp. Def or HP |
| Fast utility | Speed | Jolly, Naive, Warm, Hasty | The stat needed for its key move or survival |
Common Evomon nature mistakes
Copying a nature tier list blindly
The same nature can be excellent on one role and harmful on another. Match the modifiers to the individual creature.
Lowering the active damage stat
A physical attacker that drops Attack, or a special attacker that drops Sp. Atk, often loses the value it was built to provide.
Overrating Speed
Moving first is useful only when the creature can convert that turn into damage, control, or survival. Bulk can be the better breakpoint.
Ignoring equipment and team coverage
Nature is one layer of a build. Review the type chart, equipment, moves, and the rest of the team before spending heavily.

Modest is reported to raise Sp. Atk by 10% and lower Attack by 10%, which fits special attackers that do not need physical damage.
